Remember That Time Trevor Brazile Competed Bridleless on Texaco?

Three-time Tie-Down Roping World Champion Trevor Brazile showed off his great horse Texaco at the 2010 Fort Worth (Texas) Stock Show AQHA Horse Show by competing on him without the aid of a bridle or tie-down.

Brazile made the run after being dared by fellow tie-down roper Cade Swor. He tied his calf in 7.8-seconds, but was disqualified because AQHA rules require the use of a bridle.

Texaco (Real Cool Dual) was runner-up for PRCA/AQHA horse of the year in 2004 and 2006.

The other bridle-less run of notoriety came when Brent Lewis rode his great horse, Grumpy, without a
bridle or tie-down in the finals of the 2001 Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo.
