Twenty cowgirls will rope 10 rounds for $1,000,000 at the 2026 Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway Finals, Nov. 26-28 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, after three days of qualifying that start Nov. 23.

The event is back in its Thanksgiving slot after 2025’s postponement pushed it to mid-December. Josie Conner and Hali Williams finished that week tied atop the money at $115,000 apiece and chose to share the title rather than settle it on a tiebreaker. Maddy Deerman-Jacobs won the average.

Where: WestWorld of Scottsdale

Every day of the week runs at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Back Number Ceremony on Nov. 25 is free and open to spectators, with dinner and entertainment, and Shelby Stone hosts. Kimes Ranch will announce which WestWorld arena holds it closer to the event.

Who’s Roping

For the first time, every cowgirl in the Finals has to earn her spot. Kimes Ranch dropped the automatic bid for the top of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) World Standings, so 17 Finals spots come out of a 211-woman Semi-Finals and three go to qualifier champions.

Quealy Probst holds the first of those three berths after her 2.37 won the Coastal Qualifier final on Avila Beach. The finals performance winners at the Canadian Qualifier and Oklahoma’s Richest hold the other two.

Through Oct. 29, 151 cowgirls had qualified for the Semi-Finals. Hali Williams, Deerman-Jacobs, Danielle Lowman and Suzanne Williams came out of Oklahoma’s Richest Round 3, Taylor Munsell out of Round 2 and Jackie Crawford off the First Chance aggregate. The last 51 spots go at the Last Chance Qualifier (40 plus five PWR Challengers) and the Buy Back Round (five plus one Challenger). Semi-Finals entry is $750.

What’s on the Line

Each of the 10 Finals rounds pays six holes, $82,500 a round: $25,000 to win, then $20,000, $15,000, $10,000, $7,500 and $5,000. The aggregate pays another $175,000, with $60,000 to the winner, then $40,000, $30,000, $20,000, $15,000 and $10,000.

The field gets cut from 20 to 15 after Round 6, based on money won and the average, so Saturday’s four rounds belong to the top 15. The high-money title goes on cumulative earnings across the qualifiers, Semi-Finals and Finals, though First Chance money from last December doesn’t count this year.

How to Watch

Kimes Ranch lists CBS Sports Network as the event’s broadcast home. Air dates, times and whether the Finals performances air live hadn’t been announced as of Nov. 2, and no streaming option had been posted. We’ll update this story when the network schedule is out. Kimes Ranch also posts updates on the Million Dollar Breakaway Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube accounts.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale through milliondollarbreakaway.com/tickets. A 3 Night Pass covers all 10 Finals rounds plus both concerts in general admission or VIP, and a suite package seats up to eight with early entry, a private bar and premium parking. Single nights sell in general admission or reserved, and Friday and Saturday also sell standing-room, concert-only tickets.

Kimes Ranch hasn’t posted prices and says they climb through the sales periods, so earlier is cheaper. Kids 3 and under get in free. Thanksgiving Dinner tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under.
