What has paid
Salt Lake City is the only completed rodeo on the board, and it moved the bubble twice. Hali Williams won it in 1.7 seconds for $4,183. Jordan Jo Hollabaugh’s $1,673 for a share of fourth is the reason she can still rope her way in at Mandan. And Boisjoli-Meged’s $366 for a share of 12th is the reason the cut line sits $366 higher than it did midweek—which is the reason Martha Angelone now needs a sixth-place check at Mandan instead of a seventh.

Pendleton: what the Round-Up pays
Pendleton paid $83,918 in 2025 on $56,500 added and about 96 entries. The format is unchanged—one go plus a final, limited to 100—and so is the money. The purse divides 36% to the long round, 10% to the short round and 54% to the average. The long round and the average each pay 10 holes; the short round pays six.

A clean sweep—long round, short round and average—is worth $18,295. Bailey Patterson’s $15,475 last year was a share of second in the long round, the short-round win and the average win.
Mandan: what the Rough Rider Cup projects to pay
Mandan added $60,000 for 2026. On the same 36-roper field that put $3,553 of entry fees on top of added money in 2025, the pool projects to $63,553, spread across 12 holes.

What each cowgirl has to place
The lowest hole at each rodeo that still clears the cut line as it stands. Pendleton is figured on the average alone; long-round and short-round money is on top of it.

Twelve holes decides two of these. Bradi Good needs $10,639 and a No. 2 check at Mandan projects to $10,648—she clears by $9. Jordan Jo Hollabaugh needs $13,422 and the Mandan win projects to $13,310, which leaves her $112 short of the cut line even if she wins the rodeo outright. Martha Angelone misses a No. 7 check by $60.
The catch: Boisjoli-Meged is roping both. She sat No. 4 in Pendleton’s Monday slack at 2.7 seconds. A check of her own at either rodeo raises the line under all eight of them, and Peterson and Dallyn are entered too. Nobody in this group is chasing a fixed number.
How many shots each has left
Pendleton’s long round is finished. Every cowgirl in this group ran it in Monday slack or Wednesday’s first performance, so all that is left there is the short round. What remains after that is Abilene, whose breakaway slack runs Friday, Mandan on Friday through Sunday, and Pasadena through Sept. 25. Entries below are off the ProRodeo trade lists.
Runs left before the Sept. 30 cutoff
Rickie Engesser is out of runway. Mandan is the only rodeo she has left and the win there projects to $13,310, which is $6,382 short of the cut line. Short of someone above her going backwards, her season is decided.
Jill Tanner needs the least of anyone chasing—$1,075 a run—and she ropes twice Friday, in Abilene slack and Mandan’s first performance. Jordan Jo Hollabaugh needs the most, $6,711 a run across two, and one of those is the Mandan she has to win outright.
The exposure runs the other way too. Jenna Dallyn sits No. 13 on $91,240 and has exactly one run left, Mandan on Saturday. Boisjoli-Meged and Beau Peterson have three apiece. The cowgirl with the most cushion has the fewest chances to defend it.
The other ladder
World standings money is only half of what Mandan and Pendleton decide. Cinch Playoff Series points lock Monday, Sept. 21—the Monday after both rodeos end—and they set the eight-cowgirl field for the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls, Sept. 25-27, alongside the four who advanced out of Puyallup. Points pay to the top 20 at each Playoff Series rodeo off average placings, not a single round.
Cinch Playoff Series breakaway points, through Sept. 15
Conner leads the points and is already through Puyallup, so the Sept. 21 line runs at least one name deeper than eighth—which puts Good in and Hollabaugh 6.49 points behind her. Angelone and McCartney are separated by 3.85 points for the last clean seat. All three of those cowgirls are roping Mandan.
Where the cut gets decided
Mandan is the one that matters most, and it is the only rodeo left that moves both ladders before the points lock. Twelve holes, $63,553, the whole bubble entered, and a No. 10 check—$2,329—enough to put Jill Tanner back inside the cut.
Pendleton pays fewer holes but bigger ones. A No. 7 check in the average is $2,719, which covers Tanner and Gilbert outright, and long-round money sits on top of it. What it cannot do is fix a five-figure deficit on the average alone—the average win is $9,516, short of what Good, Crawford and Hollabaugh each need. Only a sweep gets there, and a sweep is $18,295.
Then it is Pasadena through Sept. 25, and a cut line that has not stopped moving since July.
