Grace Toberer Takes International Finals Rodeo 56 Win: Full Results

With 15 of the best International Professional Rodeo Associations (IPRA) breakaway ropers gathered in the Lazy E Arena in Gurthire, Oklahoma, for the 56th International Finals Rodeo (IFR), the stage was set for a battle to decide the year-end champion.

When Grace Toberer entered the IPRA in 2021, she wasted no time showing the association and rodeo fans that she had what it takes to be the best, earning the prestigious IPRA Rookie of the Year title. Now, at just 19 years old and with more than three years of professional experience under her belt, she adds another milestone to her résumé, walking away with the 2025 IPRA World Champion Breakaway title.

Toberer entered the event holding a $13,734.73 lead over the cowgirl trailing behind. As the Mount Ulla, N.C., native worked her way through the rounds, she hoped the margin would be enough, and when everything settled, it was, as she secured it by $9,105.00.

Round 1 Results

Sage Dunlap and Jack, the animal athlete beneath her, set the bar in the first round as they stopped the clock at 2.5 seconds and set the tone for the two other ladies to finish up the round after her.

Round 2 Results

When Kolby Whitesell, the three-time IFR qualifier, posted the fastest time of the IFR so far with a 2.1-second run, she not only showcased why she’s earned her spot multiple times but also earned $3,703.70.

Round 3 Results

Winning back-to-back rounds, Kolby Whitesell came in hot, taking the round by just one-tenth of a second.

Round 4 Results

As she closed out her rookie year, Bleu Hall posted the only sub-two-second run seen all week at the Lazy E Arena.
