Projected World Standings: Top 70
This board starts from the WPRA’s posted world standings and adds what each rider has won at this week’s rodeos as the results come in. Paid rounds of a rodeo still running are included. It is a projection, not an official standing, until the WPRA audits the week.
Base: the WPRA’s posted world standings, updated September 16, 2026, which carry the audited money through Salt Lake City. The entering column backs Salt Lake City out of that board. The week column is ours, and it carries our corrected Pendleton and Mandan payouts rather than the figures posted on ProRodeo.com. See the Pendleton Round-Up section below, and the Roughrider Cup results page, for why. Mandan’s ground rules set its barrel race at 12 places and ProRodeo posted it across 15; we have rebuilt it on the 12-money ladder in WPRA rule 11.1.2.5. No rider changes position in the top 70 between the two versions.

A note on these numbers. ProRodeo.com has Pendleton paying 15 places in the long round and 15 in the average. WPRA rule 11.1.2.14 caps a long go-round or an average at 10 places when a rodeo runs a short go, and the 15-money ladder in the rulebook is written for one-go rodeos only. The purse ProRodeo posted and its 45-10-45 split are both correct, so we kept those and rebuilt the ladder at 10 places. Money moves up as a result: Makenzie Mayes gains $1,505 on the week, Caitlyn White $1,205, Katelyn Scott $904, Micaela Flores $451 and Megan McLeod-Sprague $301, while the riders placed 11th through 15th in each round come off the sheet. The finals is untouched.
This is unofficial. Pendleton is not settled until the WPRA posts the payout, and if the association confirms ProRodeo’s version we will change it back and say so here. ProRodeo’s results for the Round-Up are at prorodeo.com, and if you are comparing the two, that is the difference you are looking at. Pendleton is the only payout in this article we have rebuilt. Every results section below carries ProRodeo’s figures as posted. One exception worth naming: at Salt Lake City the WPRA’s audit later revised the money, so the standings board follows the audit there while the section keeps ProRodeo’s numbers. That section says so.

The WPRA’s audit revised this payout after ProRodeo posted it. The figures above are ProRodeo’s. The standings board at the top of this article carries the audited totals instead, which run a few dollars lighter for most of this field and $344 heavier for Austyn Tobey. We have not rewritten the placings above, because the audit gives us rider totals and not a payout ladder.
