How it Works

In a single class showdown, riders will complete NRHA pattern #10 for the chance to qualify for the Million Dollar Challenge at The Run For A Million.

Nine riders will advance from The Qualifier to TRFAM in Las Vegas, Nevada, August 9-15, 2026.

Alessandro Frassa earned his spot in the main show at TRFAM after qualifying at the Equita Lyon Western Horse Show in France.

Fernando Salgado will also return to the lineup in 2026 after an injury sidelined him in 2025, with his previously earned qualification rolling over to the upcoming event.

“Normally, we take the top 10 from the spring qualifier, and will in the future,” TRFAM event creator Taylor Sheridan explained. “But this year we’re only taking nine. Fernando earned his spot, and we’re going to make sure he gets the chance to compete. That’s the right way to do it.”
