The 2026 Ruby Buckle Central Youth ran straight payouts across two go-rounds and an average — no extra entry fee for the kids, fastest time paid down. Three rounds, three different headline names, and a lot of family barns making memories at the Lazy E.

Peyton Kadeg of Royse City, Texas grabbed the Round 1 win on her own TM Goodbye Design, a Slye By Design stallion she rides herself, in 17.083 ($900). The Slye By Design / The Goodbye Lane cross out of Tmhot Flash was bred by Merle D Morgan of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Kynzli Miller was second on Ken and Brandy White’s homebred Lil French Flirt, a French Streaktovegas stallion, in 17.125 for the Auburn, Illinois, owners ($600). Addy Arnold rode Rocking A Quarter Horses’ DH Lil Red Corvette, a Shawne Bug Leo gelding bred by Doug and Donna Hanover of Hearne, Texas, to third in 17.202 ($390).

Macey Rae Moore was second on Chelsea Moore’s JD Jackson Kandyman, a son of The Kandyman bred by Teresa Melvin of Hermosa, South Dakota, in 17.012 ($600). Addy Arnold and DH Lil Red Corvette stayed consistent for third in 17.062 ($390) — a second straight money round on the Shawne Bug Leo gelding.

Macey Rae Moore and JD Jackson Kandyman put two together for the average win in 34.253, worth $1,800 for owner Chelsea Moore of Rose Hill, Kansas. The Kandyman gelding’s R2 runner-up plus a steady R1 made the difference on a tight aggregate.

Addy Arnold backed up her round consistency with a runner-up average finish on DH Lil Red Corvette in 34.264 for $1,200 — eleven thousandths of a second behind Moore. Peyton Kadeg and her own TM Goodbye Design rounded out the podium in 34.297 ($780).

The 2026 Ruby Buckle Central Rookie Ruby ran 5D across two go-rounds at the Lazy E Arena, no average — straight money in each division both nights. Slick By Design dominated the week, paying out across multiple divisions and ending up the headline sire of the Rookie Ruby Sire Watch.

The Sale Graduate sidepot ran 5D across two go-rounds plus an average — open to any horse that came through a Ruby Buckle sale, regardless of which class they were running in. Lucky Wonder Horse topped the Sale Grad Sire Watch at $1,590 thanks to multiple producing daughters across the divisions.
