By the time he was 6, Gucci Equine’s bay roan stallion Nu One Time Blues (“Boujee”) had already placed in the top 10 of the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, won the 4-and-Under Heeling at the ARHFA World Championships, and placed his trainer, Joseph Harrison, second at the BFI for $42,500—also nabbing accolades as 2025 Heel Horse of the BFI.

“He’s by One Time Pepto, which comes with a lot of foot speed and feel in one’s belly,” said Harrison. “Boujee is fast-footed with a good feel, and he’s aware of everything.”

In his roping career, Boujee won five different futurities and placed second at five others to bring his lifetime roping earnings to $373,064 as of last November. That makes him the winningest team roping stallion of all time, according to QData.

“He can really run, so he always hits the turn in the right place, and he reads the cow so good,” said the six-time NFR heeler. “He can be running wide open and slow down instantly.”

Boujee is really stamping his foals out of Gucci Equine mares, Harrison said, and they carry themselves much like their sire. Because he’s a homozygous roan, they’ll get his color, too.
