The Tonozzis’ offering of A Guy With Proof to the public in Corsica is the chance for someone to add to their program an all-around sire with speed, ability and a proven track record. The horse has the potential to build an entire program around, complementing a mare herd or building a breeding legacy from the ground up—plus, the stud will have multiple offspring still in the Tonozzis’ famed program to leverage for promotion.
Rock On Guys, out of Vital Rock, was reserve in the 2020 BFA World Championships Juvenile Futurity. By 2023 he was a head horse, and he won $41,180 heading that year alone, including fourth in the WSTR Finale average for $21,000 and second at the Mountain States Circuit Finals. He added $10,867 heading in 2024 and has $214,009 lifetime. Remi Roberts runs him on the barrels now.
“Rock On Guys was just the coolest horse ever,” Pozzi Tonozzi said. “He’s a really, really cool horse.”

Trevor Brazile is riding My Guys Got Proof, a 2022 gelding out of Streaking Is Easy owned by Relentless Remuda. The pair placed fourth in the Open Heading Pre-Futurity at the 2026 ARHFA Old West in Guthrie, Oklahoma, for $10,388. The gelding has $17,776 from three heading futurities, and he’s been Brazile’s jackpot mount for much of 2026 as well because of his speed and his ability to handle pressure early on.
This Guyz Got Fire, a 2017 gelding Garrett Tonozzi owns and rides, has $8,340 heading, including third in the fast time at the 2022 Riata Buckle Pro Heading Futurity and checks at PRCA and CPRA rodeos. BR Bullet Proof, a 2022 gelding, has $2,250 from heading futurities in Arizona and Oklahoma City.
“They’re just very versatile,” Garrett Tonozzi said. “They can go straight from the barrel pen right to roping on them, or vice versa. I can start them roping, and Brittany can go right to running barrels on them.”

Built to score
Pozzi Tonozzi futuritied A Guy With Proof in 2015. Then she handed him to her husband, and Garrett Tonozzi started roping on him.
“Garrett is always big on a horse that will stand in the box and score and run to the cow,” Pozzi Tonozzi said, “and they do that exceptionally well.”
“We have had no issues with any of them not being able to stand in the box and score like a rock and be great in the barrel pen, literally walk up to the mouth of the alleyway and take off,” Pozzi Tonozzi said. “And they’ve been solid as a rock. All of them that we’ve done well on have been just super solid horses from the very get-go.”
Size has not been an issue.
“He throws a big baby, and pretty much every one of his babies has been big enough to head on throughout the years,” Garrett Tonozzi said. “They’ve taken right to roping and been very easy to train.”
Rope horse blood on both sides
The heading ability runs in the female line. American Proof, the stallion’s dam and an Extra Proof daughter, also produced BP Famous Cover Girl, a Dash Ta Fame mare the Tonozzis called “Fergie.” She was too much to run barrels on indoors, Pozzi Tonozzi said, but she turned into an exceptional head horse, and Garrett Tonozzi won a Title Fights on her before she was retired.
American Proof herself raced in Louisiana during the week and won barrel jackpots on weekends, and she won an NBHA state finals. Later in life, Pozzi Tonozzi gave her to friends whose daughter ran her at junior rodeos.
“A lot of his babies are kind, and they’re easy,” she said. “For just the general public, they’re very trainable horses.”
A ranch program’s stallion
Pozzi Tonozzi said he fits a buyer raising rope horses, ranch horses and barrel horses under one program. A letter from the Tonozzis’ vet puts him at eight to 10 mares per collection, she said, and the horse is sound.
“We’ve hand-bred him before and done some pasture breeding with him when he was younger, and he’s experienced it all, from being out in the pasture and breeding to being collected and hand-bred,” Garrett Tonozzi said. “He’s done it all. So I think he’d fit any situation.”
“I think he would go great into somebody’s program who wants to have a ranch horse, that they have mares and they want to turn them out and he can live cover mares, and they have a program where they want to produce rope horses, ranch horses, barrel horses, and just have the complete package in an all-around animal,” Pozzi-Tonozzi said, “because he’s definitely proven his babies can go both ways.”
The Breeders Challenge spot that sells with him is a barrel racing incentive, which gives a ranch program a second market for the same foal crop. The spot already has a track record with his foals. Per QData, his offspring have won $30,290 in Breeders Challenge events, $24,300 of it by Rock On Guys.
The Tonozzis are keeping 3-year-olds, 2-year-olds and yearlings by him and will keep promoting them.
“He was kind of our first real stallion to sell, and I think that all the hard work is done with him, and someone can go enjoy what we’ve created,” Pozzi Tonozzi said.
