Everything You Need to Know About the 2026 NRCHA Hackamore Classic

The NRCHA Hackamore Classic kicks off a week of cow horse action in Tulsa, Oklahoma, running July 12-18, 2026, at Expo Square. The derby puts 4- and 5-year-old hackamore horses through herd work, rein work and cow work, a proving ground for horses moving toward the bridle. Beyond the hackamore, the show also offers a full slate of classes for horses and riders at every level from youth classes to bridle and two-rein events.

This year’s event also carries extra weight as it serves as the first qualifying event for the 2027 Run For A Million.
