Joy Wargo was second on Chasin Tres Cans in 15.538 for $14,000, with $8,400 going to owner Sarah Pauels. Steely Steiner took third for Steiner Ranches on Get Tha Goody, 15.550, for $8,400. Caroline Boucher and VR Lifeinthefastlane were fourth in 15.663 for $5,600, and Casey Varpness rounded out the top five on SC Ima Epic Winner in 15.666 for $4,200.

When is the 2026 Breeders Challenge Championship Finale? Sept. 6–13, 2026, with race days Sept. 8–12 and the Finale itself Saturday, Sept. 12, starting at 1 p.m.
Where is it held? John Justin Arena and Watt Arena at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
How much does the Finale pay? More than $1 million across all divisions. The Open 4D Finals alone paid $200,000 across 60 placings.
How are Breeders Challenge checks split? Owner 60 percent, stallion owner 30 percent, nominator 10 percent.
Which horses are eligible? Breeders Challenge classes are open to eligible offspring of enrolled stallions. The High Stakes Challenge is the exception and is open to any horse.
How much has the program paid out? The Breeders Challenge has paid $11.1 million since 2021.
