The Maple Leaf Circuit has the second-most Cowboy Christmas action of any circuit this week. The Ponoka Stampede—one of the premier rodeos in Canada at $465,000 added—runs through July 1, and is the largest stop the entire Fourth of July. Airdrie Pro Rodeo ($31,500 added) runs June 29–July 1, and the Raymond Stampede wraps June 30–July 1. That’s a lot of money up for Canadian-circuit competitors in a short window.
